MMW-1 is a Multi-specimen friction and wear testing machine. It is designed for simulating, evaluation and testing almost all kinds of oil (High-class serial hydraulic oil, lubricant, combustion oil and gear oil) and materail (metal, plastic, coating, rubber, ceramic etc.)
It is widely used in tribology field, petrol chemical industry, mechanical, energy resource, metallurgy, space flight, engineering areas, college and institute etc.
This machine meets SH/T0189-1992 Lubricant Anti-wear performance evaluation Method( four-ball tester method) and conforms to ASTM D4172-94 and ASTM D5183-95.
1. Pin friction test
The sample for Pin friction test is cylindrical pin under the sample for the ring. Can make the materail process into a pin sample. If the test force is small it can do single-pin friction test, also can do three-pin test at the same time. The friction as follows:
2. Thrust ring end face friction test
Can do the wear test between two mataril face. The friction sample of studied materail can be processed into upper and lower speciment.
3. Ball plate wear test
The upper sample using standard steel ball. The lower sample do wear test through the friction coefficient, wear to detect the material’s friction resistance.
4. Four ball friction test
Four-ball friction test is an effective way to evaluate the oil, in the machine through the four-ball friction can also be achieved by long grinding oil test
